  Presented paper introduces importance-driven volume rendering as a novel technique for automatic focus and context display of volumetric data. Proposed technique is a generalization of cut-away views, which – depending on the viewpoint – remove or suppress less important parts of a scene to reveal more important underlying information.

  V tejto práci navrhujeme trojdimenzionálny dekonvolučný algoritmus, ktorý rozširuje Richardson-Lucy algoritmus o regularizáciu zachovávajúcu hrany, použitím parametra regularizácie zachovania okrajov (Edge-preserving regularization - EP). Na jeho základe sme vyvinuli štatistickú metódu rekonštrukcie chýbajúcich rezov a dekonvolúcie z medicínskych dát alebo dát konfokálnej mikroskopie. Metóda je založená na modelovaní dát pomocou Markovových náhodných polí a na optimalizácii technikami odhadu maximálnej vierohodnosti alebo deterministickými algoritmami. Táto metóda využíva informácie reprezentované funkciou PSF daného počítačového tomografu alebo magnetickej rezonancie v procese rekonštrukcie.
